6 Infused Water Recipes and Benefits

Infused water is typically a combination of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and ice cold water. Depending on the ingredients that you add, infused water can have some incredible health benefits. Plus, it can be a delicious alternative to your normal bottle of water! Wondering how to get started? In this blog, we cover our favourite infused water recipes and their benefits.

Health Benefits of Infused Water

We know that drinking the proper amount of water each day is the key to staying hydrated and staying healthy long-term. What happens when extra ingredients are added to a daily water?

One of the best (and most obvious) benefits of infused water is that it can encourage you to hydrate. Drinking water isn’t always easy, but having something flavorful without added sugars can still do the trick.

Certain ingredients in infused water can have health benefits if you drink it over time. Here are a few:

  1. Healthy weight loss support
  2. Immune system protection
  3. Digestive health improvement
  4. Appetite control
  5. Bloating
  6. Naturally restore energy levels

It’s important to note that while infused water can have health benefits, these drinks won’t provide the same nutrients that you get from eating a fruit or veg. Enjoy an infused water during your workout or at your desk, but avoid using it as a meal or snack replacement!
